How does it work?
We deliver superfast broadband using our proprietary microwave broadband network. We install a small radio aerial, about the size of a sandwich box, to enable you to receive our microwave broadband service. We usually paint the aerial so that it is unobtrusive.
There are two main features which distinguish our business services from our residential services. These are:
- Faster upload speeds (up to 2 Mb/s)
- Lower contention (20:1 vs 50:1 for home users)
Telephone based broadband (ADSL)
We can supply broadband using telephone lines (commonly known as ADSL) however the download and upload speeds are dependent upon the quality of the telephone line at your premises and your distance from the nearest BT exchange. You can test the theoretical maximum speed that your line can achieve here
What does it cost?
The service is priced based on the speed and data usage you would like. Our standard business service provides 10Mb/s speed with a data allowance of 40GB, the table below shows all the combinations available:

Are there any other charges?
The installation charge includes the cost of a survey (which is not charged if we can not install the service), an aerial, microwave radio, cabling, wired router and labour. The standard charge is £350 (exclusive of VAT) but from time to time we have special offers on the installation. |
